ZHEIF 2023 — Website of the Zhambyl Economic and Investment Forum
Task

Client brief

The forum took place on April 26–27, 2023, in Taraz. The attendee list was impressive: ministers, Kazakhstan's ambassadors to Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, representatives of international companies, and potential investors. The agenda featured the opening of the Taraz Chemical Park SEZ, the groundbreaking ceremony for Singaporean company Korcem's cement plant, and the launch of corrugated cardboard production. The scope of work included a trilingual interface (Kazakh, Russian, English), a day-by-day agenda broken down by tracks and venues, a speakers section with biographies, and online registration. After the forum, the site became an archive: session recordings, a photo gallery, and session materials. From kickoff to launch — two months, which is tight for a project of this scale. We delivered.
Outcome

What we shipped

Launched a trilingual forum website with online registration and a detailed agenda; added session recordings and a photo gallery after the event; full mobile responsiveness delivered.
Solution

How we did it

Event websites are a challenge of their own. The deadline is immovable: the forum happens on a fixed date whether the site is ready or not. We worked at full pace, fully aware of the point of no return. The audience was international, which made an English version not optional but essential. Every section was translated individually — no machine-generated templates. The agenda kept shifting right up until the last moment: speakers changed, sessions moved. The architecture was designed from the start so that those changes could be made quickly, without rebuilding templates. Once the forum was over, the site's role shifted: from a pre-event announcement platform to a permanent record of the event. We'd anticipated that moment from day one, and the content structure was ready for it.
